Backyard Fireplace

In this project, the 312Masonry team built a custom brick fireplace for the backyard of a private home in Chicago. The goal was to create a functional outdoor feature that would also serve as a visually appealing focal point for the backyard living area.

The project began with careful preparation of the construction area and the creation of a stable foundation to ensure the long-term durability of the structure. Once the base was completed, our skilled masons carried out precise brickwork using high-quality materials and professional masonry techniques.

Particular attention was given to the structure’s geometry, the strength of the masonry joints, and the proper smoke ventilation system. This approach guarantees both safety and long-lasting performance, even under Chicago’s changing weather conditions.

The finished fireplace blends naturally with the surrounding backyard environment and adds both functionality and aesthetic value to the outdoor space. It now serves as a comfortable gathering point for family evenings, outdoor dining, and social events.
