  1. You call or write

One number, one inbox. We answer same day during business hours, faster for emergencies.

  2. We visit in 48 hours

An on-site walkthrough with the crew lead — not a salesperson — to read the wall and the failure.

  3. Written scope

Line-item scope with quantities, materials and a price range, sent the same day or next.

  4. Build

One crew runs the job start to finish. Daily progress photos, clean site, written close-out.

What clients say

Reviews from the North Side.

They walked the whole facade with us, pointed out the three brick courses that needed work and left a written scope by the next morning. The crew that quoted us was the crew that did the job.

Greystone tuckpointing

Spalling brick on the south wall after a brutal winter. They matched the common brick well enough that we couldn't pick out the replacements from the sidewalk. Cleaned up after themselves every day.

Our condo board needed a Facade Ordinance critical-exam scope coordinated with the engineer. 312 Masonry handled the city paperwork and built the parapet rebuild on schedule.

FAQ

Questions we get every week.

What masonry services do you offer in Chicago?

312 Masonry covers tuckpointing, brick repair, masonry restoration, commercial facade work (including Chicago Facade Ordinance scope, parapets and lintels) and brick pavers with retaining walls and stone veneer. We do not work on chimneys; everything else in residential and commercial masonry is in scope across Chicago's North Side.

Do you repair chimneys?

No. 312 Masonry focuses on walls, facades, parapets, lintels and hardscape. For chimney masonry we recommend a chimney specialist; we can refer one. Everything outside the flue stack — including the rest of the building — we handle.

How fast can I get an estimate?

Most jobs get an on-site visit within 48 hours. You receive a written scope with line items, not a phone-only guess. The estimator is the same crew lead who runs the work — no subcontracted middleman.

Are you licensed and insured in Chicago?

Yes. 312 Masonry is a DBA of 312 Master Construction LLC, licensed since 2014 under City of Chicago general contractor license TGC-098-734, and is bonded and insured.

Which Chicago neighborhoods do you serve?

Lincoln Park is our primary service area. We also work across Lakeview, Logan Square, Lincoln Square, Old Town, Bucktown and Wicker Park, and respond to commercial requests across the wider North Side.

How long does tuckpointing last?

Properly executed tuckpointing on a Chicago brick building typically lasts 25 to 30 years before the new mortar joints need attention again, provided the matching mortar mix and tooled joint profile suit the original wall and water management is addressed at the same time.
