Here’s a look behind the scenes of a recent project:
Our mail goal was to raise the parapet walls, which were at different heights, to a consistent height throughout. This involved removing the existing roof and adding three to five new courses of brick throughout.
Also we were tasked with stray cutting a new masonry door opening, repairing and/or replacing any damaged brick, installing lintels, grinding the mortar joints to a depth of 5/8”, tuck pointing the entire east elevation with type N mortar to match existing mortar joints. To be environmentally friendly, we prioritize the use a masonry vacuum to minimize dust.
