Basement wall rebuild.
312 Masonry rebuilt a moisture-damaged basement wall down to the existing footing — removing the damaged Chicago common brick, patching the concrete, installing masonry flashing and venting, and building a new wall with a hard-face brick finish.
Project description.
This basement wall had taken on significant moisture damage over the years, deteriorating the original Chicago common brick down to the footing. 312 Masonry removed the damaged masonry back to sound material.
The crew patched the concrete footing, installed proper masonry flashing and self-venting to manage moisture going forward, and built a new masonry wall finished in hard-face brick.
